FABCO sells, services and rents Caterpillar and related products in virtually every sector of the
economy. From Caterpillar excavators, loaders and tractors at work in construction, mining and
agriculture, to Cat power generation systems used in emergency standby and load management
applications, to Cat diesel engines for powering trucks that deliver products across America, FABCO
is a strong partner providing essential support to industry.
Operating out of twenty-three
facilities located throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, FABCO's 70,000-square-mile service
coverage and diversified economy of the region offers FABCO the unique opportunity to market
Caterpillar's complete product line of over 300 models.
Supplying productive and reliable
equipment and providing the highest possible level of product support are responsibilities FABCO
takes seriously. In addition to the company's facilities, over 100 FABCO service vehicles are in
operation throughout the service territory. And because maintaining equipment is so critical, more
than 70 percent of FABCO's workforce is dedicated to parts and service-related operations. Supported
by an in-house training center, sophisticated diagnostic test equipment, and specialized tools,
FABCO's factory-certified technicians are available for emergency service 24 hours a day, every day
of the year.
To make sure customers have the parts they need--where and when they need
them--FABCO's interbranch shuttle system logs more than 2,600 miles each day transporting parts
among FABCO branches, over 45 additional parts drop locations and Caterpillar parts facilities. This
system combines the parts inventories of all FABCO locations and Caterpillar's worldwide parts and
distribution system into one huge supply source.
