Walt started a shoe repair business in 1992. He got his
lead into the shoe repair business through a dry cleaning service in town referring clients to him
for shoe repair. After 14 years of experience in the business, Heel-to-Toe was asked by many
customers to sell quality, brand name shoes.
In June 2004 the clients of
Heel-to-Toe persuaded us to expand our store and build a beautiful new location in Schofield, WI. We
now offer 15 brand name shoes at affordable prices. We serve a wide spectrum of working people
throughout Wisconsin. We became a quality shoe store for men and women. We've learned that
buying quality may cost a little more to start with, but it is a bargin in the long run. Your feet
will thank you in the long run as well. We're a full service shoe store and we care about our
customers. We try to meet their needs and have fun working with them. We stand behind our shoes when
a problem occurs. When there is a defect, they rip, need gluing, and if anything else happens we can
do something about it. We have an awesome facility to repair shoes and you can watch as we do it.
Our machines are pretty impressive. We do buildups for people with one leg shorter than the other
one. We also do resoling of boots and shoes. And leather and canvas work. We have a computerized
foot anaylzer that will tell you what kind of Lynco cushioned orthodic you would need. It helps heel
pain, arch and metatarsal pain.
